Thanks Eric! We often think of "ideas" as something that only creative people have. Or, we think an "idea" means something big, needing a strategic plan, project manager, etc.. Truth is, we make the most difference when we just go ahead and get started and, like you said, focus on step-by-step execution.
Great stuff, John! This drives home the point that having an idea is the easy part. Taking that idea and making it actually happen is the tough part! And this is the foundation of franchising - taking a proven idea and building a step-by-step execution and support plan around making that idea happen over and over again. But even the best franchise systems will die if they don't keep "ideating", which is why it so critical to have an open feedback loop from franchisees on the front lines, back to the corporate office, because we all know the very best ideas come from the franchisees! Do you have an idea? If so, your franchisor NEEDS to know!
